About Me
I am Gong Yunbo (龚运博), a dedicated law student pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at Xi’an Jiaotong University (Expected Graduation: 2027), based in Xi’an, China. My academic journey centers on the dynamic intersection of law and technology, with a specific focus on AI Law, Digital Law, Technology Law, and Intellectual Property Law.
Academically, I have consistently achieved a strong record, ranking near the top of my class (Rank 2/84) and was honored to receive the National Scholarship, reflecting my commitment to learning and excellence.
Beyond legal studies, I am passionate about exploring the world. Travel, photography, and experiencing diverse cuisines broaden my perspectives. I also have a keen interest in cinema, particularly science fiction films.
My academic pursuits are complemented by practical engagement. I have actively participated in various research endeavors, delving into critical issues like the fair use of training data for generative AI, the complexities of IP income ownership within marital relations, and conducting empirical analyses of school bullying cases using judicial big data. Additionally, I contributed to the compilation of Xi’an Jiaotong University’s historical records.
A court internship (Jun 2023 - Aug 2023) provided invaluable hands-on experience, allowing me to hone skills in drafting legal documents and providing legal consultation.
Furthermore, I have embraced leadership opportunities:
- Served as the Office Department Head for the university’s Admissions Public Welfare Association, managing office operations and coordinating team efforts.
- Acted as an Organization Committee Member for the Youth League Branch, planning activities to foster student collaboration.
These experiences have equipped me with proficiency in legal research, document drafting, information analysis, project management, and legal consultation, underpinned by specialized knowledge in my chosen fields. I am enthusiastic about applying this blend of academic knowledge and practical skills to address the evolving legal challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies.
